Suniti & Daksh - A Wedding Weekend in the Hills of Lonavala
Set against the green hills of Lonavala, Radisson Resort & Spa was the perfect escape for a big, happy wedding. The property has a calm, earthy vibe with lots of open spaces, stone walls, and little pockets of nature all around. It almost doesn’t feel like a hotel—it feels like a holiday. The resort’s architecture features bold, concrete-heavy forms and raw stone walls, delivering a monolithic yet surprisingly serene brutalist feel.
And that’s exactly what Suniti and Daksh wanted. A weekend away with their huge families, all their favourite people under one roof, and back-to-back celebrations that didn’t miss a beat.
A Mehendi Full of Surprises
The wedding began with a lively welcome lunch for all the guests, hosted by both families. Both Suniti and Daksh come from massive, close-knit families—so naturally, the Mehendi turned into a full-blown celebration.
There were surprise performances lined up for them, and just when Daksh thought he’d seen it all, Suniti hit him with a surprise dance she had planned with her friends. But before the music and madness started, we got a few quiet portraits of the two of them—just soaking it all in.
Sangeet That Turned Into A Party
The Sangeet kicked off with their ring ceremony and led straight into a night of dancing, performances, and an after party that had no intention of ending. There was energy, there was sparkle, and there was a whole lot of love in that room.
A Quiet Morning with Family Traditions
The next morning began on a peaceful note with Sindhi poojas for both families. After a night of music and madness, the slow rituals and family time felt grounding.
Wedding Under Gloomy Skies, But Glowing Hearts
The wedding decor was floral, soft, and pastel—just the way Suniti had imagined it. For a while, we thought the skies would open up and pour, but the rain politely waited until the pheras were over.
Suniti’s entry was emotional. Her sister’s recorded message played in the background, taking everyone back to their childhood memories. One by one, her family walked in before her—and then came Suniti.
The pheras were full of emotions—smiles, tears, and a feeling of calm joy.
Through The Hiraaya Lens
This wedding didn’t chase perfection—it felt real. Big families, unexpected weather, emotional speeches, surprise dances, and an after party that stretched into sunrise. It was beautiful in all the ways that matter. And we were lucky to be there for it.
