Sanjana & Shivan - Oleander Farms
Tucked away in the lush green folds of Karjat, Oleander Farms served as the perfect canvas for Sanjana and Shivan’s beautifully paced wedding. A destination not far from Mumbai, Oleander's many pockets of nature—from lakesides to hillsides—offered the kind of dreamy backdrops that quietly elevate every frame.
Mehendi Mayhem
The festivities kicked off with a pastel-themed mehendi by the poolside. Sanjana and Shivan were glowing in the daylight, and we began with some quiet portraits before the madness began. What followed was an all-out dance off that the couple kicked off themselves. The emcees leaned in hard—with spontaneous challenges that brought out wild moves, wild laughter, and a wildly fun start to the wedding.
The rest of the day? Pure madness in the best way.
Friends dancing like there’s no tomorrow, laughter that echoed through the space, and moments that already felt like memories being made.
Written in the Stars
The energy shifted to something more cosmic that night. The sangeet theme, “Written in the Stars,” felt both dreamy and apt. Sanjana and Shivan wore coordinated outfits with constellations embroidered on them—tiny stars stitched across fabric that caught light in all the right places. Performances lit up the stage, and the night ended in what we can only describe as stardust and sweat.
Haldi on the Hillside
The next morning, the haldi was hosted on a hilltop spot within Oleander—a venue that felt like it had been plucked out of a postcard. Bathed in yellow decor and sunshine, the ceremony had all the chaos and charm of a classic haldi—equal parts turmeric, laughter, and tight hugs.
A Lakeside Wedding
Set against the still waters of the private lake at Oleander Farms, the ceremony was nothing short of magical. A floral mandap stood under the open sky, surrounded by swaying palms and starlit sky. With sacred chants echoing through the air and the soft rustle of leaves in the background, the couple took their vows in a moment that felt deeply personal and beautifully timeless. The lake reflected every emotion — the joy, the stillness, and the quiet strength of tradition — making it a truly unforgettable setting to witness love in its purest form.
The baraat arrived in a vintage car, setting the tone for a regal yet relaxed affair. Sanjana made her entrance under a red veil, and her bridesmaids added a cinematic twist—revealing her through a sheer drape that caught the golden light just right. As she walked down the aisle, Shivan gently lifted her veil, and from there, the varmala and pheras unfolded with quiet emotion and grace.

The pheras took place by the lake that evening—an atmospheric close to this two-day celebration. Sanaya Dotiwala, their makeup artist, brought Sanjana’s look to life with finesse and was an absolute delight to collaborate with.
