Nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, the picturesque island of Malta served as the enchanting backdrop for Rishabh and Patricia’s wedding. This stunning destination, with its rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture, provided the perfect setting for a celebration of love that was as timeless as it was beautiful.

Malta is an unbelievably beautiful place, with breathtaking views of the blue sea everywhere you turn. The island showcases a mesmerizing palette of blues, from deep navy horizons to crystal-clear turquoise waters, vivid azure skies, and soft cerulean twilights. Shades of cobalt, sapphire, and aquamarine add to the stunning visual tapestry, making every corner of Malta a photographer's paradise.
"One day you're a university student, trying to talk to a pretty Spanish girl and now getting married to her" said Rishabh during his speech during the Welcome Dinner. Rishabh, originally from Ghana, and Patricia, hailing from Spain, have a love story that transcends continents and cultures. Their union is a beautiful testament to how love can bridge the vastest of distances and differences. Meeting in a cozy café in New York City, they bonded over their shared love for travel, adventure, food and deep conversations
Welcome to Malta!
The Festivities began with Sundeep Uncle (Rishabh's dad) warmly welcoming everyone as they arrived at the hotel. The wedding had guests arriving from all over the world and the air was filled with excitement as old friends reunited and new friendships began to form.
While this was happening, Patricia was applying her mehendi, a beautiful design that she thought of herself. Friends and family flocked to see her and Rishabh, sharing in their joy and anticipation.
An ode to Ghana
Rishabh and Patricia's wedding in Malta beautifully blended their diverse backgrounds. Though of Indian descent, Rishabh was born and raised in Ghana, where his family has lived for the past several years, bringing a touch of Ghanaian warmth and vibrancy to the festivities. The welcome dinner had a Ghanaian theme to represent their strong connections to Ghana. This included Afrobeats music, fireshows, and Ghanaian-based prints called Kente
Rishabh and Patricia entered and gave heartfelt welcome toast, sharing poignant stories from their proposal and their journey together. Under the Mediterranean sky, the al fresco event hosted at Westin Dragona’s outdoor restaurant, Palio’s Trattoria was filled with a mix of laughter and tears, creating a profound sense of love and joy. Their journey from different parts of the world to this beautiful moment in Malta was celebrated with deep love and enthusiasm. The photos below capture a touching moment when Rishabh recalled how his grandfather gave him the final push to propose to Patricia, despite his nerves. We saw Sandeep Uncle shed a tear as he remembered his father through this heartfelt story shared by Rishabh.
Sangeet
“The party event! This was in the ballroom at Westin Dragonara. Patricia’s friends and family were introduced to this event with the dance practices and they were able to put on a show. The Sangeet was so wholesome with all our closest friends dancing to the songs we love the most - Bollywood, Reggaeton, Afrobeats and English. This was followed by a visual hologram show which went on for about two hours and then everyone kept going until the sun came out.” - Rishabh
The party was wild, with beauty all around. We captured high-key shots to give it a high-fashion vibe, experimenting with light and mood, which turned out perfectly. The performances were a highlight, with everyone nailing their acts. We were especially enthralled by Patty's friends, who remembered all the steps to the Bollywood numbers they danced to.
